ProDirections merges with Savills New Zealand

20 February 2015

International real estate adviser Savills has expanded operations in New Zealand with the merger of Savills New Zealand and ProDirections, a leading Project Management consultancy.

Paul McLean, CEO, Savills Australia and New Zealand, comments: “Building upon, and expanding, our New Zealand business has been part of our strategic growth plan for some time.  Since establishing a dedicated commercial property team in 2012 we have continued to grow the agency with a strong focus on professional services, specifically valuations and project management.

“ProDirections provided a strong fit for Savills project management and development management consultancy sector.”

Founded in 2003 as New Zealand’s only Project Director consultancy, ProDirections is a privately owned firm with offices in both Christchurch and Auckland.  ProDirections has established themselves as lead project managers in power generation, airports, public buildings, health, irrigation, rail and commercial developments across New Zealand.
David Perry, Director at ProDirections adds: “This is a great opportunity for us to build on our strong position in the market and benefit from being part of one of the leading global brands in the industry.  This, combined with our unparalleled local knowledge, track record and experience, will allow us to attract new clients whilst also ensuring we provide our existing clients with a best in class service.”

“There are many synergies and opportunities to be capitalised on across both groups. The enlarged group will offer greater diversity and overall strength in project and development management delivery and will be well positioned to leverage off the strength of the Savills brand across all aspects of the property market,” says Phill Andrew, Managing Director, Savills Australia and New Zealand Project Management.
